Ed tutored both my teenagers throughout their final year of GCSE science and Maths as well as A-level Maths, Physics, Eng Lit & Politics. For the sciences he tutored them directly and for the humanities he had his wonderful team of tutors on hand to help. Both my teens achieved A* & A grades between them and ended up in top UK universities of their choice.
Ed was always upbeat and enthusiastic during this stressful period for us all & he always made the sessions fun and interesting whilst focusing on specific areas of the course where they needed help, as well as time management and exam technique. His regular and relevant feedback was really helpful and encouraging and his team of tutors for other subjects were equally dedicated and professional.

I recommend Ed without reservation. I have been consistently impressed with Ed attitude with my daughters. He always makes sure they understand everything and will text them the day before the exam to make sure all is in order. He really cares about each pupil.

I cannot recommend Happy Ed highly enough. Over the years both my children have used them from primary school to university classes. They have always helped support my child in their subjects. Everyone at Happy Ed is responsive and professional. Ed himself is a rare human being who has the ability to communicate with parents, but connect with the tutee and give them the passion and self confidence to believe in themselves.
I could write an essay for a review but honestly you will not be disappointed by Ed or any of the tutors at Happy Ed. I am eternally grateful for not only did my kids grades improve but their curiosity and passions for their subjects have flourished. I have to say this is 99.9% because of Happy Ed.

Both my children have been having lessons with Ed for many years and he has provided them with the confidence and skills to succeed in key exams so far…. Ed helped my son to prepare for the dreadful 11+ and my daughter through GSCEs in maths and sciences and now for A level maths. She got top scores across subjects in GCSEs and said she would have not been able to achieve those grades without Ed’s support… He managed to build a strong relationship even if lessons are online and I really appreciate how invested, motivating and reassuring he is.
In sum, I cannot recommend Ed and team strongly enough to gain the deep understanding, motivation and confidence necessary to enjoy the subject and succeed in any test.

Ed was recommended by a friend after I advised that one of our daughters was struggling in maths and not going anywhere with her tutor but still wanted to keep her 4th A level as maths.
Even when the school recommended our daughter to drop her 4th A level in maths being expected a B, our daughter maintained she wanted to continue.
We reached out to Ed who motivated her and made her work. Not only Ed gave her the will to keep maths, he always supported her and she reached an A in maths to the surprise of her teachers. That was the boost that our daughter needed even though no one believed in her at school - Ed always did and proved the school wrong. Thank you.

Ed has worked with all three of my boys for over 6 years now and I can honestly say, he is a true mastermind in all subjects! He brings a positive impact to their learning not to mention, his positive energy and enthusiasm are infectious.
Ed has been absolutely brilliant with our youngest keeping him organised and focused whilst making learning fun.
My older two attend boarding school in the US therefore Ed zooms with them - often at odd hours due to being in a different time zone. He works around my kid’s schedules and has given them confidence and the tools they need to persevere in preparation for exams.
Ed is an excellent communicator frequently touching base with my son’s teachers teachers whilst keeping me in the loop and reporting after every lesson. He is most dependable and always super professional. All three of my boys adore working with him and quite frankly we may not have the results or have survived each school year without him!

Ed tutored my daughter from a 12 year old child convinced that maths was a subject which she would never understand, to the 16 year old who attained a 9 in her GCSE maths. Ever willing to assist in any matter she found difficult, my daughter began to receive tuition in the sciences as well. She received 9’s in those subjects as well. Ed's catch phrase, "Math it's fun!" is still something we say at home.
My daughter genuinely looked forward to her lessons with Ed. He laughed at my daughters jokes whilst covering both the content and exam practice questions in a precise and efficient way. He gave her confidence to believe in her abilities. It is thanks to Ed’s skill as a teacher that she developed a solid understanding of all her topics and excellent revision strategies. Ed is a gem, we are extremely grateful.

I highly recommend Ed for tutoring in all STEM subjects particularly Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

From the first moment HappyEd gets involved, communication is set up with child, tutor and parent. The purpose is to support and create free flow of information, empowering and encouraging independent learning. There is a constant stream of enthusiastic support and discussion going on relating to the subjects that have been studied. Tutoring for both GCSE and A-level with HappyEd has greatly enhanced the grades of my 4 kids by at least 2 boundaries and improved confidence in the subjects. My kids genuinely enjoyed their sessions. I couldn't recommend HappyEd highly enough.
